Married couples can get STDs too, even if they're both faithful and they saved themselves for marriage. You can be born with an STD if your mother had it, and if you don't show symptoms (this can happen with chlamydia and probably some others) you can unwittingly pass it to your partner even if you're married.
There's also the possibility of receiving an STD if you were raped.
