I can agree with you to an extent. I think just about anything is OK in moderation. Just about. Moderation implies an element of self control.
It takes self control to say "look, I don't have condoms on me, I'm not on birth control, we can't have sex", or, "No, I can't smoke with you today, I have to go to work". If you're smoking in your down time and implementing safe sex measures and those activities are not interfering with you being a functional adult, you're doing good. I believe in God and his natural order and way of things with no doubt in my mind, and I believe that these pleasures we were given were intended as just that, pleasures. Moments of bliss. Not as things to live on. Not as things to depend on solely for happiness. We're given a brain to think and these pleasures to have and we need to realize for ourselves where moderation is and how to stay there.
