Sex is to make babies. I think sex feels good to encourage us to reproduce since if it did not feel great at all I do not think anyone would try. People have sex for recreation but it is meant for having babies. You can not take any drug with “zero negative effects” most drugs have side effects. The leaves probably make you high since they are poisonous. You can get high from licking poisonous animals but it does not mean it is good for you. Some things could be used for medicinal use but they all have a down side. Most drugs have the possibility of getting you addicted even mainstream medicine. I think people are the ones who choose to get high. I do not think god would encourage us too. That is like saying we should do meth in moderation.

Hell, ketamine has more medicinal value in humans than meth does. XD

For the last time, I don't need God to justify using such a beneficial harmless plant (I've already experienced all the joys and wonders for myself without the slightest thought about God giving it to us, i just thought of this poll's idea the other day), and I do indeed want the medicinal effects of it. I do not believe that people should do drugs, other than the plants and fungi that He put on this earth. And never did I say humans invented sex, God made us this way, and gave sex for the not as intelligent and more/less emotionless (for lack of a better word) animals to reproduce, and cognitive married humans (who he holds to a higher standard than animals) to enjoy and have the potential to make babies with if it's that time of the month.
And even you can't argue that the alcohol from fruit/plants (though I don't condone alcohol, i dislike it, and what it turns people into, but Jesus himself turned water into wine for His people) and natural marijuana doesn't bring friends and family closer together in social functions as long as they don't go overboard.
And I never said marijuana is addictive if you don't follow the rules, the high from it has the potential to have the same type of addictiveness as any favorite hobby/interest or food/beverage can be.
Second you can predict a women cycle but its not 100% accurate so you can still get pregnant even if its not during that time. So to think you can skip which days a girl gets pregnant is not so easy to do. I really doubt god would give us sex FOR FUN! Sex is for making children. Food can be almost anything. Medicine is one thing but people do not promote medicine to get high. You want to get high and that is not for medicinal use. So saying you like being high is not going to add a lot to your claim. It also does not seem like you really care about the medicinal use when you say that. It just seems like an excuse to get high.
Which I do believe I have said already in my other comment. Yes but did Jesus ever say "Let get drunk! Be so drunk where you beat your wife and child." I think that would be gluttony and that is under the deadly sins. Also I do not think they would be against drinking since in the old days many people drank.In fact in some places they only drank alcohol because of the contaminated water.
So the point of having alcohol in it was to clean the water. Find a passage that tells people they should get drunk and high and maybe you can use god as an excuse to get high. A lot of people also smoked before they knew it was bad. Beer was also considered a replacement for food as well.
I understand your frustation. I think that there are many believers here but they stay silent because they know that most people would probably just thumbs them down or be mean if they mention their believes. Many times I have experienced this but I never stop saying that
