Do you really want to stir the pot?
Look at Africa as 1 nation.
Instead of all these little areas trying to be country's.
The size of states.
( F'n joke )
What if Africa became united.
Like the United States.
or The Soviet Union.
What if the whole continent of Africa became one country.
What used to be nations, become states.
No more state, trying to invade state.
All of Africa,
One nation.
One flag.
One leader.
They'd kick ass.
But,
Until they get it together.
They'll remain an exploited area.
That's a great thought but it would never happen tribalism is a big thing there and many tribes have been fighting before even recorded history. Something like that would have to forced and it would have to be done by a organized African group rather then outsiders to make the transition easier.
I know nothing of South Africa, except apartheid and Nelson Mandela from when i was a kid.
No racism, but south Africa is strong because of diversity white and black
I don't think I would want to go to South Africa, not unless I could do something related to nature, and animals.
Sound like a good enough reason.
Question are you really into animals or just certain kinds?
I guess I would say that I love all animals, but my heart primarily belongs to domestic animals like dogs, and cats of course. I guess what I'm saying is that I wouldn't want a go to South Africa unless I was gonna go on Safari.
Sounds reasonable and I feel the same way I love most forms of wild life but know better then to go near them.
I tend to have more love for animals than humans as a whole, because I feel like the way animals operate makes more sense logically, and reasonably. Of course wild animals can be very dangerous. Humans are dangerous in a different way, we're primates so it can get pretty cray cray not unlike with a crazy chimp. I can understand why some would want a big cat as a pet, but I wouldn't ever want a monkey, or a chimp. I do love gorillas though, and I was very sad when Koko the gorilla died last year. Koko was truly a miraculous girl!
A good cat, or dog is like a gift from God!
It's fucked. Zimbabwe tried to get rid of the white farmers too and they all starved.
Barring the Mali Empire, there's not a single Sub-Saharan country that managed to get out of pre-history. Christ, some places hadn't even invented the wheel prior to colonization. If history is anything like it's been since the dawn of humanity as we know it then trying to get rid of whitey it isn't going to end well for South Africa.
Don't know much about South Africa (or Africa in general, besides terrorism in north Africa), but I know they have really really beautiful wild life / safari so that would probably be the only reason for me to go there.
Like most African countries, in the end they take everything and ruin the country. Then they need the West to help them out again.
It moved from from a shitty regime to another shitty regime, not much to add and wish they got their act together.
South Africa is a really good... well great... no... Its an excellent place to have sewage pipes empty onto. You can all have ya children run out there and burn the poo.
Still on th bottom third of the evolutionary chain, but have had more time than anyone to sort it out. That’s what I see.
Hottest white people. Men and women. Hottest accents. Apartheid is awful
But damn there are some sexy white people. People get murdered in Africa in every country, in every county and it sucks. Somehow there are some of the most beautiful people on this planet.
Never been.
But one of the grandmother's of some of the kids I used to look after is from there, and she is one of the nicest people I know.
It's one of a handful of countries in Africa that I have enough respect for.
I went there once as a 14 year old. The nature and wildlife were beyond what I’ve seen in any other country.
However when we travelled to Durban we stopped to buy food at a supermarket in a poorer area and there were loads of tall stocky school girls with shaved heads holding hands with each other and staring at us. I’m assuming they didn’t see a lot of tourism around there. Nothing bad happened but the whole supermarket and had a slightly dark vibe, the staring bald school girls were everywhere, the queue took a really long time and I just wanted to leave. Bad vibes.
So overall a physically beautiful country but the cities are scary to a quaint Brit like me.
