Lolz they would probably work out better than regular marriages!
I see no reason why marriage as a legal institution could be outlawed. If the church has a problem with it, don't let gays get married in the church, but as a legal institution banning gay marriage is discrimination.
I like this answer, its a good comprise. it allows the gays to have their marriage (there are justices of the peace and other non-religious ceremonies that can marry 2 people. )
and the church won't have to be forced to change their views.
I agree that 2 adults should be able to get married, reguardless of race, gender, or even (sapient) species!
be that as it may, if you try to force the nay- sayers to accept it, are we really better than those who try to force others into keeping it illegal.
Remember: people don't like being forced, and the more you push, the more they will stay put.
just show your support/opposition without pushing it on others, and maybe they will consider your side and question their own views.
