  • Marriage is the legal union of a woman and a man where they become husband and wife. By definition it is not possible for partners of the same sex to be married. That said I have no problem with same sex partners being united legally.

    • I pronounce you husband and husband/wife and wife. It's that simple.

      • Simple? Yes, but not marriage by definition.

        • How traditional. Wow Hitler. Lets go kill 'em Jews! (sarcasm)

          • Are you high? I have no problem with gay partners being wed, I merely pointed out the definition does not encompass the union of two men. I don't make the definitions. I have plenty of respect for gay people and their rights however I have no respect for those who can't hold an adult conversation or let bitterness cloud their judgement.

            • By bitterness you mean sarcastic right? And maybe I can't hold an adult conversation on this conversation because I know what it feels like to be discriminated against based on gender expression and sexual orientation.

    • We invented those words. We invented and adapted the meaning of those words as our language evolved. Certainly we can change the meaning of the words, rather than making up a new word, right? ;P

    • Hey, so it turns out that language is fluid and words can be redefined.

      • Sure, if the word was redefined then it would be entirely possible and I would continue to not have a problem with it.
