There was a law against it throughout history for a reason! Because it's origin is the church....you can fill in the rest yourself lol. It's just like stupid people saying the bible has nothing in it against gays, but um yeah it's got a whole story about it.....starts with an s!
Trolls aren't ignorant as the purpose of their trickery is the fact that they know what they're saying is false but say it anyway to fool others (so you seem to have trouble understanding what ignorance is). I am against it, always have been, always will be. And i have my reasons for this. How are you so stupid that you don't realise that not all people are for gay marriage?
And besides you aren't exactly one of the smart users that should be questioning me or my opinions in the first place lol.
God forbid anybody anybody disrespect an institution that's perpetuated centuries of homophobic oppression. It's not like equality is more important than your straight-ass traditions or anything.
And I'm just saying that "it's disrespectful to its origins" is not a valid argument, because institutions that oppress people don't deserve respect until they stop oppressing people.
"it's disrespectful to its origins" Is a fact (if you know your history), not an opinion, so it's quite valid as an argument.
"institutions that oppress people don't deserve respect until they stop oppressing people."
That on the otherhand is an valid opinion, not a valid fact.
Because it's breaking the law of the religion that created it. It's not an opinion, it's a written fact. If it wasn't disrespectful, gays would have been getting married for the last 2000 years and the entire issue wouldn't exist in the first place!
I'm not saying you have to like it and i can see why many wouldn't, but that doesn't change it from being true.
What do you think of same sex marriage?

I don't think it should be legal. It's disrespectful to it's origins.

I'm not sure how you figure that whether something is disrespectful isn't a matter of opinion.
