if its fresh cuts then i think it nees to be covered up. however if its 100% healed scars, then i dont see the problem. i think covering up all the time if they dont want to, adds to the unspoken ''be ashmed and silence'' thing going on about mental health. these things should be talked about and brought to light to raise awareness. and to show your scars (NOT cuts, those are fresh, scars are HEALED) can be a brave thing to do. also if its buttfuck hot outside no one should suffer heatstroke and sweating and being uncomfortable just for the sake of other people. if someone sees someting they dont like, they can literally look away. do you tell an amputee to cover up or stay inside? do you tell a burn victim to hide their form away because it disturbs you? then why the callousness towards mental health and some of the physical side effects that can show/manifest themselves?
