Honestly, 90% of the nude art I see features women, even though 50%+ are painted by women. I'm a straight guy but I don't see my category of human represented visually in the art world, which makes me think it's a symptom of female objectification in society and media, the justification or philosophic concept usually arising AFTER the aesthetic conception.
I think it falls down to each of us to decide what it is to us. Too many artists delude themselves into thinking their subconscious sexuality or desire to pander to a popular audience doesn't factor into their work.
It doesn't sound like you're looking at art it sounds like you're looking at playboys. 90%? Did you somehow forget the world's most famous nude, the David? When most people think of nude art they think of David, a man. In fact most nudes in the Classical age were men. They created the ideal man. Most were depictions of athletes or gods. The influences form the classical age had a strong impact on Michelangelo and have a strong impact today. Women took over later in the world of nude subjects. Women have aesthetics, the S curve in their back. I'm a straight woman and I can say I enjoy drawing women more. The shapes are more fluid.
Artists also have a history of getting rejected from galleries due to the nudity or even having their artwork altered. So no they're not whoring themselves out to appeal to a horny demographic.
I was focusing on the modern age, and not just those pieces of art with frames in galleries. All art. Art in media, television, the internet, painted art, sculpted art, photography. Art of my generation, everyday art.
"Women have aesthetics"? You like drawing what you think is pretty. That's normal. I have no contention with those who draw pretty things because they are pretty. It's when they deny drawing pretty things because they like drawing pretty things, and instead justify their drawing pretty things with whatever sociological statement they can convince people with. I've done art all my life and been around art students all my life, this is my experience. As to artists being rejected for nudity, not so much, not now anyway. Sex sells, and that is absolutely true of the art world. Further, shock value goes a long way - just look at Jake and Dinos Chapman.
What do you think of nude art?

I don't think that is true. Women are more beautiful to some, but it obviously depends on the person.

You are completely right.
They should have more male nudes with nice cocks and balls etc.
