Also, are you a man or woman? So that I can get an idea between the genders.

I'm female. I see no issue with men and women crossdressing. It doesn't harm anyone.

Well the guy who gets a "surprise" at the end of a date may disagree.

Yeah Ive read about cases like that. I see no issue about crossdressing as long as the person is honest about what they got down there. I have zero issues with transgender people when I say this.

    • I agree with you. I was reading an article on how men tend to wear their shorts too long and that men's shorts should never be longer than down to his knee at the longest. What do you think of that?

I think people should be able to wear their shorts whatever length they want as long as they aren't showing their genitals.

        • Yeah, I have some different shorts than I am use to. I bought them a few months ago and have not worn them yet. I am getting use to them I think. Can't really wear them much to next summer now as it is autumn where I live.

Are they like shorter or longer than what you're used to? Either way Have fun wearing something new.

            • Shorter. They do not go below my knee like my other ones. Do not get me wrong they are not super short either. I was reading that men's shorts should be no longer than down to his knees at the longest. When you say your a woman how old are you if you don't mind me asking? 😊

It's fine for anyone to wear whatever gendered clothing they want. It may look weird on some people, but it's THEIR choice and THEIR freedom to wear the clothes they like. Being a dick to them about it is unpatriotic because it shows how little you care for freedom and how intolerant you are of those who are different.

    • I agree. However, I have changed the type of pants I wear about 4 ish years ago and I have noticed how women are treating me differently. At the end of the day though you should wear what you want.

why do we categorize what is appropriate for a person based on their gender

why must gender dictate how we look and act
shouldn’t a person be able to decide what he or she likes and feels comfortable in and not base it on whether their a boy or girl

shoulnt a person be able to express themselves for who they are and not what sex they are

everyone has their own personalities and traits why is it that girls are expected to act a certain way and guys another

    • I do not really know but I guess it is still stuff that is bred in us from the 1950s back when we had super strong gender roles.

I like wearing woman's clothes, but I only do it in private. I only wear panties, stockings and heels, however. It's a huge turn on for me.

If a person is going to crossdress in public, I do believe they should be passable.

i also wear those things when i am alone. I'm very masc. looking and a public display would be very funny. i also hang out with one guy who wears lingerie. very hot. but…very discreet

I have no idea why I like it, I just do. I don't try to look like a woman, it just turns me on to wear stockings and panties.

depends on the type of clothing both genders can exchange. if guys are going to wear dresses and high heels then that's quite weird. for girls some are tomboys so they prefer wearing less feminine clothing style (guys' clothing).

When girl's wear their boyfriend's clothes it's cute. I don't care if boys wear girl's clothes since is has nothing to so with me.

I think what ever a person wants to wear is their own choice and everyone should be fine with it. Lets face the facts its not their life. So if makes them happy go for it.

    • Do you think that also applies for men as well as women? Do you think people should not care what others think?

personally, I don't think anyone should be allowed to wear shorts that replicate more of a thong than shorts. I also don't like leggings as I usually see obese booty rockin' that sheer material where I can see their gross undies but people should be allowed to humiliate themselves however they choose.

so yes, clothing should be genderless.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
      -
    • Yeah, I think most people think it does not look good when you can see a person's undies through their clothing.

From my point of view, anyone can wear whatever they like.

Yall know that heels were invented as menswear, right? So technically it's ladies in heels who are crossdressing.

It all changes depending on time and place and is often arbitrary, so idgaf.

Here is a thought: why are men's clothes pants and women's clothes skirts? After all, shouldn't the gender who has precious package they can't overheat be wearing skirts, who offer more air flow?

    Comment Hidden ( show )

    • Oh really, I did not know heels were originally invented as men's wear. Putting aside th social thing about skirts I can see your point.

  • _Mehhhh_

    I don't care tbh

I do judge some of these older transwomen who wear shit no biological women would wear (pearls? Really.) but that's more based on poor taste than actual "cross-dressing"

Some people can pull it off and others can't. Even if you can't pull it off I'd never say you shouldn't do it, but expect some funny looks.

    Comment Hidden ( show )

people can wear whatever they want but that doesn't necessarily mean they look good in it. if you're gonna crossdress at least pull it off don't half-ass that shit just to make a statement. jmo

Not really the point i was making, like i see dudes that think they can just throw on some make up and grow their hair out and they'll look "pretty", or girls who can just cut their hair short and wear loose clothes to pass as a man, when in reality both guys and girls need to know what styles (whether cross-dressed or not) look best for them and/or how to take care of their hair properly so their look is not sloppy. I mean yeah I guess I don't "like" crappy fashion sense, I just wouldn't give them a second look is all.

        Comment Hidden ( show )
          -
        • Yeah, I was just making a point that was all. Yeah, people can look sloppy. Do you think part of what your wearing comes down to confidence as well? Like maybe not in all cases but in some cases if you wear what your wearing with confidence without over doing it it is more likely to be accepted?

            • Yeah, I get what you are trying to say. I was reading an article of "How long should men's shorts be?" and it was saying no longer than down to his knees at the longest. What do you think? I get people can wear whatever they want though.
