I am thinking of becoming part of the Goth subculture and I'm wondering about what everyone thinks of us. I just listed the more common stereotypes and but please feel free to discuss below. :)

Goths are just cool.
I used to go to EBM and goth parties in high school.
They’re interesting. I like to watch them. Plus some of the dudes are HOT!
Is that still around? I remember many years ago someone said, "emo's are just goths that are afraid to go into a graveyard." I still think that is funny. I guess the moral of the story is goth is better than emo.
I think goths are cool and the fashions are cool too. I'm not goth, but I do have a couple of gothic fashion items in my closet that I wear from time to time. People think I'm like, 15 when I wear them. It's fun.

It doesn't bother me ,my niece is gothic ,she wears black alot and has piercings and she's still beautiful ,u can be gothic and be pretty at the same time ,just don't over do it
I wanted to vote that this is weird. That's more of a Goth answer. I selected interesting.
I have an unusual attraction to whatever is Goth-like. I should just embrace it all.
Get as pale as possible. Be dark, oh so dark. Be Wednesday Addams.
I think everybody has there own type of style and being that they choose there own clothes and shoes ,I really don't see a problem with goths because I see alot of people that wear black and I actually wear black clothes ,it doesn't bother me ,unless they have all kinds of wierd piercings!!!
I like the style and dark culture and music.
I don't like how it is a fad and when people do it to be cool or interesting. I like "goth" type stuff like black metal and horror and dark stuff. Somebody who just met me probably wouldn't notice that unless I was wearing some kind of t-shirt that hinted I like that stuff, but some people go overboard and make their whole life revolve around it like it's their identity. So if you are thinking of becoming one, don't because you are just trying to be cool.
