What do you think about the girls of 21st century?

Well as a girl of the 21st Century I guess, here's what I think:

People were like this in the 80's and the 90's etc. There were whores, druggies, teenage pregnancies, nerds, skaters, in the past as well, you name it, past decades have had it. The only major difference is the music, technology, and other developments in society.

And I don't think you can define billions of people with 2/3 words...sorry but it's stupid.

There are bads for both genders of this generation. I wouldn't call them "sluts" but I do think that the females today like to dress up to higher their sex appeal to find partners. This is all fine to do if they want to, but they should understand that it gives them a certain look. Also, females at young ages, like 10-12 year olds are adopting these styles from the teenage and minor adult females. It makes the ten to twelve year old females look like they're trying to find a partner to have sex with, which is just disgusting.

Funny thing is that most men actually prefer girls that haven't adopted this whole "Snooki" look.
I think the "Snooki" look that females have adopted is kind of like a symbol of easy to get females. You can't blam people for thinking that, because it's what actually happens.

There is a very big difference between the women of each generation currently in existence. How much of this is maturity and how much of it is cultural evolution is difficult to say. The mode of dress over the years has significantly altered heading more and more towards what older generations would have considered "slutty".
The womens rights movements and the great increase in divorce rates has also contributed to the "women are all sluts" belief. More and more women are having children out of wedlock and are having multiple partners. Women that have careers are often forgoing husbands altogether. Add to this the abundance of sexual images available, and the recent generations are being labeled more and more as "sluts". In the traditional meaning of the word this is technically correct. Any woman who has had sex outside of marriage would have been considered a slut. This is also correct thinking going by a purely genetic viewpoint: by having sex out of wedlock women are more and more subjecting children to the problems of only having 1 parent. It seems cruel and wrong to label women thusly but there it is. Is it fair to women? No. But women must also understand they have a high moral and legal obligation to the species as a whole. They are the ones that carry the children, they are the ones who decide the environment their children grow up in.

They fail miserably.
They are not understanding, they can't take a good joke. They measure you with professional success and money.
They want you to look like some actor. They're never ever happy.

but most of all, they don't believe anymore. They've seen so many crappy romantic hollywood movies, they want their unrealistic endings.

A large proportion of girls I know fit under the slut category, even the nice ones

I think it's becoming more socially acceptable for women to show their sexuality. Some people may see that as being whorish/ slutty but honestly I couldnt care less.

I think that most of them are quite nice. There will be people out there who don't behave quite how you'd want, but I guess you just have to try to work with them more patiently.

I think women are getting uglier. It seems that women are parting into two camps; the majority being frumpy,unhealthy, messy woman and then the celebrities who are fussy and plastic beyond reason. Both, in my opinion are uglier than the majority of women in the late 20th century.

I honestly don't know if women have gotten better or worse since the last century. Back then, tv didn't report on the sinfulness on man, it actually gave real news. The technology that we have now only shows people the bad things about people, barely any of the good. Also, I'm in high school so almost every girl's the same but a few are different.

I don't think there's a definite pattern or anything, each one is unique. Some just more than others.

It all depends on the girl. Some can be bitches, but that is common, we can all be bitches, some more than others. You just gotta find the right person.

I am sure there are a lot of normal and decent women out there, but the media will not portray the norm to be so. the same goes for men. What is normal these days could very well be classified as corrupt and diminishing, as of the term decent will mean something different from person to person.

There are some who I hate, and some who I like. In the same proportion as there always have been. There are a good number who fit into each of those categories.

I could say many [bad] things about the girls of today, but this doesn't represent girls as a collective, just the negative impressions that I have experienced personally. I would probably be called sexist as well as other words too. I think the poll results so far speak for themselves though.
