I think it's best to wait til you're ready, but that age is completely dependant on the individual. Lots of young teens just aren't quite mature enough for that sort of thing. They assume they're gonna marry the first person they're with, they're often ignorant about how to have a healthy relationship with someone, you throw sex into the mix and you're gonna add even more emotional intensity to a person who really doesn't know how to be with someone yet.
Plus, you know, pregnancy and safe sex and AIDS and all that shit. Gotta be mature enough to be safe and ask the difficult questions.
You are completely right. I have met young men and women who go around sleeping with everyone they date and swear to merciful heavens that they will marry that person. They never do and I just look at them thinking "Do you honestly think that is how it works"? They think sex sets it in stone but it never will.
Probably just the oxytocin talking (if I spelled that right). I saw a post on here once, not sure if it was legitimate or just a troll, of a girl talking about problems with her bf or something. Violently opposing anyone who told her this might not be forever with the "You don't know how I feel!"
Actually, yeah I do. Because all of us felt that same way at one point. Then you go through a relationship or two and realise what we were trying to tell you in the first place.
What do you think about sex?

Even if he was to stay with him forever it takes two to have a relationship and her feelings are only one part of the equation.
