I like realism, honesty and minimal drama levels. So long as romance is compatible with those things, then I am happy to have it. A lack of romance isn't a big problem to me, but a lack of loving companionship and caring about each other is. Maybe those things are what romance is to me, though. Even so, the most romantic thing in the world is a mature conversation about the direction of your relationship (okay, that's a slight over-exaggeration, but it serves my point :P).
