What do you think about nofap?

Do you believe in that nofap works? If you have tried no fap I’d like to hear your experience.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

If that is about masturbation I only attempted to masturbate once, got bored & never tried it since.

Never heard of nofap or tried it, but this is how I quit porn in two ways.

    1) I deleted every naked photo of women on my phone.
    2) I stop going on sites that trigger my addiction.

Nofap probably does work for other people which in this case I'd probably imagine that it gives people the recovery that they need.

I’ve tried about every method in the book when it comes to succeeding at no fap and failed every time. You really don’t know how addicting something is till you try to stop.

Why do people have such a problem with jerking off?

Jerking off gives more confidence? Or not jerking off?

Not jerking off is good for your confidence apparently. They say it makes them want women more since they cant pleasure themselves their urge is stronger and they go after women more. They say sex is 10x more pleasurablr

I don't have an addiction so I don't have to worry but it's supposed to help you and it's proven to improve health

We should be accountability buddies lol. Download the app Manhood. It keeps track of your progress. I use it all the time. Tells you what time of day your prone to relapsing, shows you a progress bar that fills when you reach day 7 (which is supposedly the day your body’s testosterone levels go up 45% among other things. Just helps to physically see your progress.

Thanks for the tip! Im a woman but i appreciate the support and im sure your comment will help someone. Good luck and keep going! Might be helpful to join a 12 step program and go to meetings for support.

Never understood that. Then again I don't masterbate like a hormonal teenage boy either-shrugs-

Never tried it, but I'm not much of a jacker. When I was younger, I probably did everyday. Once I figured out it feels better/stronger if I waited a while in-between sessions, that's all it took for me. A funny thing a woman I know once told me- orgasms are God's way of keeping his name relevant- I'm not religious though.

I think nofap is too far. The best thing is less fap. Things like nofap for Novemember seems good though.

It seemed I got benefits from it the first week then it went away and I felt the same. So I have up on it.

What benefits did you see? I usually see a confidence boost 2 weeks in so in. The most I’ve gone is 15 days. Edging is still a bit of an issue though. Definitely trying to quit- just hard when you can literally find the hottest girl on earth with one click😂

Sex was better. I did feel more confidence and less anxiety but that went away.
