What do you think about hickeys?

I just got my first hickey yesterday and I was just wondering what other peoples opinions of them are. I absolutely love it ^_^ My boyfriend is afraid we're gonna get in trouble though.. so I can't show it proudly like I want to..

I've heard some people say they're "trashy" and I'm just curious why they're considered that.. I think they're a symbol of a close relationship.. but I guess that's just me

    I think they're trashy things. When someone says hickey I instantly think of a pregnant 14 year old and a bike shed...

    I think it's trashy. One time the guy said it's because he's marking me. Ever since then, it's a definite no. Kissing on the neck is nice but sucking on someone's neck? Come on now. There's so many pleasures in life and hickeys are not one of them.

              Why is it everyone thinks they're freaking brilliant and can ACTUALLY tell how old someone is through the Internet? I mean, really? I know I'm 18. I wouldn't lie about that. I know who I am and how old I am. What of?

    I don't care, but I don't want to walk around with people knowing my business. IMO your sex life should be private. I don't care if I see someone with one and if it's a friend I joke around about it. :)

    They look gross. Back in school people who had them tried to hide them.

      ? You don't have to have sex to get them tho.. I got my first hickey on Tuesday at a movie.. didn't have sex. I'm actually still a virgin.. so........ I'm pretty sure you don't have to have sex to get one...
