I think stretched ears are beautiful and I respect anyone who can go through the long, laborious process of stretching. Mine are only at a 14g right now...stretching from a 20g piercing I got when I was 3...but I'm okay with that. I'd rather take it slow and healthy. Also, I've never been in pain while stretching. Even if I was, society's preoccupation with living a painless existence is kind of absurd, IMHO.
