I'm a very liberal person, particularly when it comes to sex. I believe that any consenting adults should be able to do what they want with each other, and I will champion their right to do so. But there are three things that I will not stand for: rape, pedophilia, and bestiality.
For me, the crux of the issue is consent. But inherent in that is the issue of whether something has the proper cognitive faculties to provide consent. I don't believe that any animal or young child is cognizant enough to do so.
I believe it's wrong. An animal cannot verbally consent to such an act and I believe it violates the animals rights.
To me it's the same as pedophilia or rape, both of those don't respect consent either, not that either of them are acceptable or right with consent either, unless it's fake rape-play with a partner.
Since when do animals have rights in this world???
We kill them, slaughter and eat them, put them in small cages and whatnot -.-
And you call me/us sick for loving animals a bit more than you'd consider normal?
Consuming animal/Having sex with an animal is not the same thing and you know it.
Humans kill humans and much worse and humans have rights, so where is your point now?
Who are you to say they don't have rights? Some are protected species, I think they have rights, do they not?
And yes, I do call you sick. Because that animal wasn't put there for you to use for your own sexual pleasure, find a guy or a girl.
I don't want a guy or a girl (in my case a girl but I simply don't want one as I don't feel emotionally attached to humans -.-)
I know it is not the same but I think killing is worse than loving them that much that I want to have sex with them... But killing and eating animals is legal and having sex with them is illegal and becomes punished harder then hurting or killing an animal???
In what world do we live?
A world where people don't sexually abuse an animal. That animal can't say "yes, I want to have sex" much like a small child can't.
Only certain animals are killed, like livestock and chickens, when people kill cats or dogs, they are prosecuted. So people do get punished for both actions.
Even if you are not emotionally attached to humans, animals are not your toy to use.
They aren't "my toys", I love them and want them to be happy!
Animals can't verbally say "Yes" but they can by body language or simply by letting it happen... animals run away or get aggressive if you do something against their will so by just tolerating sex they consent to it!
In china dogs and cats also get killed and they also gas animals like dogs because they have too much! (Well ok that is illegal as well I hope!)
Also cows are slaughtered and "slaved" to produce milk...
Furthermore breeders force animals to mate with each other against their will by tie them down or such and that is legal... really that is f*cked up... it is a huge double standard to say killing and eating, forcing them to breed is legal and having/at least trying to have consensual sex (you can't prove 100% that they consent as we don't know what animals really feel) is illegal!!!
