What do you think about a white salsa?

  • Sounds good to me. There is something very satisfying about making fresh salsa from the garden. I don't think you need to go too experimental with it, but maybe a white squash (I have no idea what white squash tastes like.) I've always liked mango salsa, why not white peach?

I hope it turns out tasty!

    • Squash tastes sorta like zucchini, it'd be alright for a salsa made out of grilled vegetables, if that's what they're after :)

Other things you could try using are white radish, white eggplant, fennel or bean sprouts - with seasoning of course, not like one of those plain salsas. Obviously not all of those either because it's probably not the best combination, lol, just givin' a few ideas. :)

    • Ah, white peach, good idea! I was thinking of leaning towards the sweeter side and that would be good. I'd just have to find the peaches....

      • I also really like the texture of a peach over beans. Thanks a lot for the tip!

        • To be honest with you it sounds like it would look nasty. Yes I might try it if you offered me a side of chips.

        • no prob! fruit salsa's are yummy, I've had some made with grapes that was pretty tasty but peach and mango taste similar too me. And grapes aren't really white-but it could work.
