you want something important, but can't find important because to you, importance is permanent with wide range and visibility. it is hard to find a problem small enough to fix but big enough to be important, and that is why you should not fear failure.
my advice to you is to set a goal. it can be one you are sure you will not reach, but you must be capable of making progress. make sure you have these three things: desire, ability, and opportunity. these are the three things you need for success, without having all of them present, you fail to progress.
