What do you guys have hanging on your walls?

The average American household has dozens of family photographs on the stairway wall, as I understand it.

So, what do you people have up? Do you fit the average American stereotype?

Random splattered food particles, dark spots where furniture used to lean against, cobwebs.

Why the foods?? Do you eat like a duck or have you gotten into a spat or confrontation during a meal in your home?

Yeah, I totally get it, I'm super clumsy too. I love white clothes but 50% of the times I wear them I mess up.

I am too, although I've settled in the same home for the last 8 or 9 years. But I've carried my wall stuff everywhere!

Rugs, antique guns, old china, maps, photographs of family and friends, some art pieces, lots of horseshoes, display cases

Display cases? Like glass cabinets? If so, I forgot to mention mine, I figured it wouldn't fit the "wall" criteria!!

Actually, if those count, I forgot the magnet boards with "to do" notes, vintage spice rack, magnet knives thingy in the kitchen, and the fridge magnets.

What's this vintage spice rack like?

I have a fuck tonne of spices which I use regularly and I just keep them in baskets. It's convenient but I would prefer a spice rack. I haven't seen one that I like yet, so I'm looking for ideas

          It's this one:

          https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Kamco-Industries-Original-Wooden-Spice-Rack-with-23-Jars-/274035722448?nma=true&si=2xpCRnDm6zPajB2rh0mt1FHDUk8%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Except I've cleaned out the original bottles and replaced the spices in them. I kept the oldish looking labels and caps in order to keep it vintage looking.

It is more than just 'nice' for me! My mom got it over 30 years ago and i just took it!

Anyway, the format works wonders for those who love to/have to cook!!!

A painting I made for my bf, Some shelves for painting supplies, Two metal flowers, Mirror, Cross, Dreamcatcher, Catscratcher, Office thingy. Zero photographs.
I haven't personally been to anybody's house and seen the stereotypical Homegoods commercial of photos up a staircase. The most I've seen is sometimes when I'm in an office the person behind the desk has a frame or two staring at em.

In my room, I have the US Quarter Map framed hanging above my bedpost, one band poster (trivium), a WWII Airplane poster, and two giant art sketches done by my best friend.

I have stuffed animals and some my little pony dolls decorating my place. If I ever get a house of my own I intend on getting 3 maniguens, one in a old dive suit, one in some medieval armor and another in a USSR soldiers uniform complete with memborilla

Smudges where I've squished mosquitoes and felt too satisfied at finally having swatted the bugger that I didn't want to clean it up straight away. I'm mildly allergic to mosquito bites, so I suffer by them.

It's hard to put anything on my wall because it's newly plastered, and my landlord wouldn't be best pleased if I started drilling holes in it.

Dream catcher, poster and a wall clock.

I'm pretty basic so i feel if i have too much decorative items on my walls, i feel crowded. I probably wouldn't even fit the American stereotypes anyway since I'm not American.

I have a few paintings on my walls, a navy-themed clock that looks like a ships wheel in the kitchen, an actual solid wood, lacquered ship's wheel my dad made and a ship knots display (also gift from my dad).

On shelves I have a few 1:18 diecast model cars, on top of the bookcase in the living room I have 1/72 scale models of Concorde and the SR-71 Blackbird - my two favorite airplanes.

On top of the closet in my bedroom I have a 1 meter Lego model of an aircraft carrier (recently bought and finished building right before the holidays) XD

Not very feng shui, or modern minimalist decor, but I like it.

    My boomerang collection.

A ski poster of powder snow in Colorado.

    Float plane pictures from Alaska.

White sand beach poster from the Caribbean.

A wine country map of Napa and Sonoma valleys in California.

And a beautiful watercolor of a Chinese boat from Hong Kong.

I have not put anything on the wall from my travels to Switzerland, Spain, England, Sweden, Hawaii, or New Zealand. Just didn't find any memorabilia that looked interesting enough while I was there.

The plates are decorative with fleur de lis in the middle. They outline my mirror. In sets, they’re green, red, and blue, with gold embellishments. The hats are mostly ball caps. Mine and the kids. But my other rack has 3 straw hats.

I have nothing on my walls. I like the minimalist approach to my surroundings. It makes for a better Feng Shui environment that keeps my chi elevated.

No im in Corruptifornia. However Chi isn't short for Chicago, like on the TV. Chi is the energy current that runs through our bodies, providing us with circulation, nutrients, and minerals that we need to be whole. It's a yin and yang thing.

A few nice watercolours I've accumulated over the years, and some watercolour-like pictures that I created long ago from photographs of Italy using image editing software.

Even though I was born in the USA and grew up there, I've never understood the tradition of putting loads of framed photos of family members on the walls. Maybe I'm just more capable of remembering what the people in my family look like than the typical American.

A few pictures from the 80's, plus some framed pantyhose ads from the 70's and 80's.

What I want eventually is a framed poster called "Daydreams" by Carol Lawson. We had one in the living room when I was a kid, just kind of a nostalgic thing.

I've got like over a dozen mirrors - sue me! - and tons of framed artsy posters from my trips and the theater plays I've been in. Also a lot of maps (mostly world maps), And a NJ 80's license plate.

Oh, and a couple pictures of myself in plays, a magnetic dartboard, and little trinkets hanging on the doors.

Also a few clocks, but only one of them is a working one.

I guess my stupid pun was missed.

You know, you should hold a mirror so the judge can see his own face and say "Hey look, it's a picture of an asshole!"

              Judges humor pretty easily.
