I agree, it sucks, but then again, they probably hear their own voice as louder then what you hear.
I'm naturally a loud talker, and its frustrating cause my voice sounds too quiet to me, so I think I'm talking too quietly. I try to be nice with asking a low talker to speak up, cause I want to hear what they say, but I know how frustrating it is when someone yells at you for talking too quietly or loudly.
