Why do people always bring this up? It's not just the particular non-physical attraction that steers guys away from overweight women, it's the fact that they don't respect themselves enough to be respected. ( I'm not counting those that weigh a thousand pounds due to some disease, it's not their fault and I say best of luck to you)
Probably not. The ideal mate for me would be the one who matched my three 'needs' and then who was best for me in any other category that isn't a need. But I don't need ideal. I just need... well, my needs. All else is negotiable.
To give a different example, humans need food that has calorific value. That doesn't mean the ideal food for humans is raw sugar or lard even though it fulfills the limited criteria of 'need'.
I guess someone who was quite extreme in one attribute but lacking in most others. She could be someone who was hyper-intelligent but detested affection, wasn't sociable, uncaring, didn't engage me, didn't challenge me. Someone missing the vitamins and minerals that a balanced meals gives you, and lard doesn't.
They both have the calories I need, but one is better for me than the other.
What do you consider in a girl? (boys)

If a woman with all those qualities also weighed 1000 lbs would she still be your ideal mate?

I think you would still eat the lard. This is nature of vice, no?
