What do you call your female friend?

From a non-English speaking perspective,

I think dude and guys is entirely gender neutral, but is mainly for males when trying to point out single individuals like when saying “Who’s that guy/dude over there”.

But I call female friends dude and bro pretty often
Other fun neutral ones are chief, boss, captain, and then the soft insults like dork, nerd, weirdo, whatever

girlie, her nickname, but dude works to idfk

I call girls dude all the time.

It depends. I call most of them dude, but my friend group is pretty laid back. The only one that I don't call that is one who goes by her nickname.

I typically call them by 1st name, or say they are a friend.

On rare occasions I use "yo"

I call them my good friend just like any other.

My guy friends call me by my first name.
