What do you call a person that “hates or does not like america”?
Just wondering because I live right by Canada and some of them talk bad about America sometimes.

I live near Canada too and I hear way more Americans badmouthing Canadians then Canadians saying bad things about Americans. It's almost as if no one can insult Americans without us getting our panties in a bunch.

Hahaha. People just kind of suck, in general. Especially in a work setting where many are there out of desperation or lack of better options. They probably not their best self. Sadly people don't feel like they need to be the best versions of themselves unless they get something out of it. It's a bit selfish, but kind of honest too.

I call that an American.
No American should be happy there when anywhere else on the planet you get automatic 5 weeks vacation, one year paid maternity, free Healthcare or affordable, freebies after giving birth, better education etc
Last place I'd want to live. Do you know in America the employer isn't required to give any paid vacation or they have to wait 10+ years for four weeks? Yet nearly all countries give automatic five weeks or more the first day on the job? It's pointless to live in America lol

With my parents it's the other way around... They hate Russia, communism and all the damage it caused to my family. Every contact they've had with Russians has been a bad one.
I hate communism, but I don't hate Russia. I got some friends from Russia and they changed my opinion about post-soviet Russia.
For a long time I hated Russia too. But then I realized that a bunch of idiot dictators running a country do not define the people of that country. Just about every Russian I've met was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Hell, most were ready to invite you for lunch, or dinner involving a lot of vodka 20 minutes after meeting them for the first time.

My dad reaaalllyyyy tried to put a lot of hateful and extremist and nationalist shit in my head, but I was such a hippie kid it just blew right past me lol
He’d give me the whole “Everyone outside of Russia hates you”, “It’s us against them”, “They don’t bleed when you cut them”, and I would just be let it pass.
But I guess my take is different from yours lol, cause when I would actually look at what Westerners said it was like holy shit they really do hate my guts.
I dunno, it doesn’t bother me too much. But some of the old propaganda from the Cold War and stuff that the US and West enforced about us is straight bullshit.

Look i admit were far from perfect( nowhere is perfect) but im damn glad to live here instead of truly poor or horrible places where women can be sold or you can be killed for being " gay" or " disobedient". Or starving, or crazy jihadist government...We have free speech still. England does not. We need to fix many issues and if you dont like Trump, fine, but saying America is shit just isnt true.

I’m sure there are some great things about the USA but every time I look at the media I see something really weird or insane going on there so my perspective of it is tainted. Particularly since you had trump as president. Pretty sure he is currently the worlds most hated person. I’ve never heard a single good thing said about him. He really is giving the USA a bad rep.

Someone who hates America... Sand monkey, communist?! Should I keep going? I don't know. There really isn't an exact description for someone who dislikes a country.
Also, what do you call someone who dislikes Germany, or Australia... This post is just trying to stir up more racism. Now, I like the US, but I wouldn't call every single person who doesn't like it a "filthy communist", or whatever and then smash a beer can into my forehead and yell "Yeehaw"
If you hate a country, without visiting it, getting to know the people, the culture, etc and you just hate it for the sake of hate - you are an idiot.
If you hate a country, after experiencing it's culture and learning about it - it's a personal opinion.
