What do i do if im sick but have no insurance

Technically I have insurance. However it only works if I fill out work men comp paperwork in which case work men comp pays it anyways and I never need the insurance. So it's not really worth anything if I want to personally go to doctor and not fill out work men comp claim. Which with what I'm being paid I can't afford a pay cut.

Is It Normal?
