What do girls mean when they say they like confident guys?

What does it even mean??

When people ask "what do you like in a guy" girls often say "I love a man with confidence" BUT WHAT EXACTLY DOES THAT MEAN?! No one *I know* has ever said anything beyond that to explain what the heck they mean by it

I'M A GIRL AND EVEN I DONT KNOW WHAT THE HECK THEY MEAN BY IT!!

Confidence to ask you out?
Confidence in their looks?
Confidence in the bedroom?
Please someone tell me what exactly they mean by that

(I'm aware that some guys say they like "a girl with confidence" as well, but most guys usually explain what they mean by it rather then just ending there statement there)

    I'm other words, guys not afraid to ask a girl out, a guy not afraid to stand up for when someone getting picked on. The wishy-wasn't way some dont know how to take control of themself even. They can't make a decision without second guessing themself.

    Google the the word confident, and hopefully you will better understand. I think it means they want someone who isn't a wuss.

    As a female, if I want a confident male, it mostly means someone who isn't scared of me or intimidated by me, although that can be cute too.

    How old are you? Why would it not mean the same as what the guys have told you?

    Confidence: "a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities."

    Basically, don't project how much you hate yourself, do your own thing without worrying what others think, know what you're doing in life, be able to do normal every day tasks required for living successfully.

    Or if you are young: probably means more like a guy who can ask them out, make conversation with them, hang out, take them out to dinner, that sort of thing.

    Girls who want a confident man may be shy themselves and want someone to sort of take care of them. Or they just want someone they don't have to worry about constantly.
