    • Because the taste doesn't cater to the general population. Sure there will be some non-asians who would be down with eating authentic asian food but this just makes up a small percentage of the market. Actual asian food may be too strong or too spicy for many people's liking. That's why they westernize it to fit a typical westerner's tastebuds.

    • They might. That and they have the occasional leftovers from the food they serve everyday or take-out from other food establishments. The rest is just trashed (too old and the like).
