Oh man, it's the one mystery i'd love to see solved for curiosities sake, though it would create utter chaos. I don't see exceeding the s.o.l. to be a possibility, at least not in out lifetimes, so i guess we'll be victims of the great filter.

Your point is well taken. Certainly, hysteria could reach epic proportions. But in my estimation, curiosity is worth a brush with doom. Anyway, the great filter gets tiring.
