LOVED IT! I actually haven't played it myself, but I've seen the walkthroughs and stuff like that. I loved the little romance Ellie and Riley had "going on" even though they probably didn't know what they were feeling. A lot of video games (or any kind of media, in general) are just way too scared to put out a story line with characters that are, in some way, tied in with the LGBT community and that, my friends, is ver unfortunate.
That's one of the few things I liked about it, actually. Not surprisingly, that's also a reason some people hated it, lol. It's nice that Naughty Dog isn't afraid to include things like that. If you paid attention, there's even evidence that Bill in the main story was in a relationship with his partner. :]
Yeah, it was no surprise to me the homophobic backlash that came with the release of the game. And, I was confused as to why people were.....confused when they didn't realize Bill was gay......I thought it was pretty obvious. But yeah, gaming companies should be more open minded to this kinds of subjects and introduce them to their gaming audiences. Glad you weren't one of those homophobic assholes who hates Left Behind just because of the lesbian romantic relationship/feelings.
