  • The feels man. The feels!

I loved it, especially how it actually had stuff to offer the story. It wasn't it's own separate thing, it was actually important in understanding Ellie. I'll admit I didn't like how it went back and forth in scenario. I really mainly cared about her and Riley. My god the videogame scene was by far the best thing I've seen in a game recently. It was like I was actually that ninja and I was actually fighting. Oh, and don't forget the puns! I swear those were the most authentic laughs I've heard in a videogame. I loved their chemistry, it seemed so real. When they were in the photo-booth, Riley and Ellie, man I just couldn't help but smile. It was adorable. Too cute for a post-apocalyptic world. That was the thing that I loved about it, it was surprisingly light-heated. But in no way was it tame, the danger was real. It was always lingering in the back of your head; but for awhile you forgot that the world turned to shit. That was why I liked the DLC, because it was nice to see people show their soft side.

I'll admit there were moments, where I was like "Riley don't do that, you'll attract a horde!" I'll admit I was criticizing Riley quite a bit, but I couldn't deny that I loved her. And I loved how she cared about Ellie enough to escape a Firefly camp and see her. Riley was a good friend, but I knew that she had to die. In the end though, it was necessary, otherwise nobody would have known that a girl holds to cure to save humanity.

    In conclusion, I was awe-struck.
