I dont really care if you slag me on here but I'm not a they/them, Im one single male person.
As for the current topic I didn't mention any hard drugs, and I've never represented myself as anything other than an alcoholic handyman on here, Im as "enlightened" as anyone who can drink a few beers and go change a wall outlet.
The US defense budget can't defend police stations from "rioters" and cant even defend the capitol building from random hillbillies. You're going to take the debate point that all these things aren't being allowed to happen? They really couldn't have just shot the hell out of all these guys storming congress? Everyone's so dumb theyre arguing over the moraity of these psyops.
Real groups of people would've been ventillated trying to storm US federal buildings. But ok, A kid can get enough guns and ammo to shoot up a school but the US government can't defend their own buildings, riiiight.
Its amazing to watch people who still participate in society justifying how any of this makes sense. Imagine storming your local courthouse with 30 of your friends (DONT. I AM NOD ADVOCATING DOING THIS TO ANY FBI WATCHING) but imagine how that would go. Now apply it to a fucking DC federal building. Jesus mary satan fucking crist bro.
The pronoun "they" isn't just used to refer to a group of people. It's also used for when you don't know the sex of the person you're referring to. How the crap am I supposed to know if you're male or female if I've never seen you say anything that gives an indication one way or the other? Stop getting bent out of shape.
"I've never represented myself as anything other than an alcoholic handyman on here, Im as "enlightened" as anyone who can drink a few beers and go change a wall outlet." Dude, on a different post, you literally said to me, and I quote, "Ive spent my whole life doing hard drugs and I can see whats going on in the world right now better than most people."
Well yeah, that's more of a jab at everyone else than me professing myself to be some enlightened genius. Being smarter than the average person isn't even saying much nowadays.
Im not crediting doing hard drugs with making me smart, but I do have to say psilocybin and LSD are extremely enlightening experiences. I'm saying its disturbing to see what's happening in the world, and even more disturbing that people seem to be going along with it as if this is all normal. Im not bent out of shape at you, more just the entire situation where nobodys actually standing up and saying the reality they're portraying in media is not the reality you see if you go outside walk around and talk to people.
Try to imagine a nice tone when Im asking this, because I get I've been coming off as really irate on here a lot lately. Is your point here that you don't believe "storming the capitol" was set up and allowed to happen?
Do you think a bunch of random shmucks can storm a US federal government building in DC and then just leave after breaking some stuff and stealing a podium, if the government mounts any resistance to it happening? And they're going to track them down from social media posts when they couldve surrounded the building with armed units and hellicopters and stopped them from leaving in the first place? This is the question you refuse to answer
Id really like to talk to you about how you think this could happen with the way cops can and will shoot you for running in their direction with a comb in your hand.
Im always willing to listen. I have no invested interest in being right other than wasting a lot of time watching NASA videos and trying to live outside and allegedly benevolent society that exists for my benefit. If you can't provide demonstratable scientific evidence of rockets landing on boats or people storming US government buildings with zero visible resistance though don't expect me to "listen to you"
If Im wrong its good because the reality I see unfolding is scary and dystopian. Id really welcome some information that would prove me wrong. Calling me a dumb conspiracy theorist who admits to using drugs isn't any evidence to your argument. I don't even want to argue cause I gain nothing from even winning an argument. Id like to have a discussion though.
Simple question, and please answer it. What would happen if you tried to recruit people to take over a federal building in Washington? Im interested in knowing how people who disagree with me on this point see that scenario working out.
They didn't storm the building. It started out as a protest and then devolved into a riot. The riot had started after they were already inside the building.
"when they couldve surrounded the building with armed units and helicopters and stopped them from leaving in the first place?" You make it sound like those are things that can be deployed quickly.
What you're implying here is that if there had been mass casualties strewn around the Capitol, you would accept that the event that happened did actually occur.
But the thing is, even when there _are_ mass casualties, people of your mindset _still_ insist it's all fake. The Sandy Hook Elementary School slaughter of children is a prime example. For years, Alex Jones and wingnut asshats of his ilk denied that any children had died there, and claimed it was all an enormous conspiracy designed to justify taking their precious guns away from them.
I do agree that what happened last Wednesday was very strange. If you look at all the forces of so-called law and order which were deployed in DC during the BLM protests last summer, all the body armor and hardware displayed in an effort to intimidate and the heavy-handed way those forces sometimes dealt with the protestors, and compare all that to the pathetic display around the Capitol, the contrast is glaring.
What's also glaringly obvious is the difference between the two different groups of people the cops were facing. Last summer, it was black people and their allies of other skin-tones, and a pretty good mix of ages and genders; last Wednesday, the crowd was almost all white and predominantly male. In other words, the mob looked an awful lot like most of the people in charge of trying to maintain order. And, since cops tend to have an authoritarian mindset, you can be sure that a lot of the boys in blue sympathised with the Trumpist mob.
Oh, and BTW, the bloated US defence budget doesn't have anything to do with the resources and manpower available to police forces. Not directly, anyway. Over the last 30 years, cops all over the USA have been able to tool themselves up with more than $7 billion worth of surplus military hardware at very low cost. But whether it's right or justified for American cops to be equipped like an occupying army is another issue.

A simple google search will show that all of these people are Getty Images photographers with extensive portfolios of pictures. So these nuts willingly posted for pictures with actual News photographers that just so happened to be there?
Nah I'm not saying that, I'm saying that in the event a bunch of people stormed a federal building in DC they would've been mowed down. Not only did that not happen, they're talking about finding the people from the pictures they have of them, when they could've surrounded the building with tanks and not let any of them leave in the first place.
I'm not going to touch the sandy hook thing cause there are hours long documentaries deconstructing that whole thing that get shadowbanned from youtube that could fill you in on that way better than I can remember every piece of evidence against it being a real thing. Alex Jones is a disinformation shill. He mixes truths in with a lot of ridiculous stuff about turning frogs gay to make real things look like conspiracy theory.
BLM is COINTELPRO CIA infiltrated controlled opposition at this point. I'm not going to accept they were nice to these guys storming DC buildings because of racism. Regular cops would be the ones sent to stop this? In the event it was real it would be a declaration of war by domestic terrorists. And what did they even actually do, just smash a bunch of shit and take pictures?
So yeah, that's my point I guess. We both agree it was strange, it doesn't seem to make sense, If I was out plotting to storm a local federal building and mentioned it online anywhere they'd come to my house to arrest me before I did anything. So then it would seem all these people planned this out using HAM radios and passing notes. I think Judge Judy used to always yell that if something doesn't make sense it's probably not true. That's not conspiracy theory, thats skepticism of what others tell you. If you can pick apart a narrative and find things that make absolutely no sense in reality, it's pretty likely you're being given a distorted version of reality.
Also dont wanna get on a rant about militarization of police, who exist only to guard the wealth of the wealthy and not to protect regular people on the street, but that kind of ties into the whole thing too. The world has been going this way since 9/11. The economy has been a wealth transfer since they got off the gold standard. The moon landing was fake, nuclear doomsday weapons don't exist. This is all going in one direction. There's only one "conspiracy," and it's submission of the masses to serve the interests of the priveledged elite, which has been going on forever. They just have a lot more technology and knowledge of how to manipulate people behind the scenes now.
People overthrew monarchies. The royal families and other nobility still existed. These people believe they have divine right to rule over the rest of us. They're playing the long game here. They can march in and declare that they're the new dictators, and there would be chaos. Not organized chaos that serves their agenda like riots in specific places and stuff, but huge scale riots where we all knew who our targets were. If they gradually make people stupider and make sure every generation loses just a "little bit" of freedom, you've got a totalitarian world government in a couple of centuries. And you can rewrite history every 100 years, cause at that point nobody who remembers is paying attention.
What did Trump say to incite his supporters to storm Capitol?
