I'm not saying it's the right call or the wrong one but if the Democrats prevented an audit every single time when there was evidence of irregularities, if not outright fraud, then what is left for the people to do if any and all attempts to validate the vote through ideas and conversation isn't even being taken seriously? If we're going to play the blame game then the blame goes on the people that ensured the vote wasn't accounted for when requested.
I've not come to a conclusion yet. Looking at their happy faces like they achieved something by merely breaking in has started to piss me off since they achieved nothing but a field day out but I'm not going to pretend that the blame starts with them.
I'm sure I've read articles where Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader of the Senate, has also prevented recounts or whatever
What Trump is trying to do is get states to claim fraud as well and possibly have election results tampered with so when there is that recount or whatever it'll say he won
Does he not seem like a man who would buy his way into office? He did last election, there were ads everywhere saying Hillary already lost hours before the election was over. Can you see how that would dissuade voting for Hillary?
McConnell even said there needs to be a change, we have elections where "only the winners accept the results"
Yes, both sides have done bad things, but how do we proceed now that we know that? Replace everyone? Start a new government? Kill the ones we can prove are guilty? Engage in flame wars? These don't seem like real answers to me.
Society should be aware of injustices and use all the information when deciding who to vote for, be it senators, representatives, presidents, local officials. Smarter people will vote smarter, smarter people will take office, slowly but surely the injustices cease.
To pull from The Office, if we had less Dwights and more Jims, we wouldn't have as many Michaels in power
Then fuck him too, I don't care who the fuck is doin' it but fuck 'em if they are.
He's not trying to claim fraud to trample on the results, he's claiming fraud as he believes the results have already been tampered with. Wait, so you're telling me that if they were to be audited and it was made sure that the votes were legitimate such as votes from addresses that don't exist being cancelled, or how votes for Trump somehow transferred over to Biden that Trump would win? That's your reasons for not making it legitimate? Fuck the fuckidy fuck off, bro. "Don't ensure the votes are genuine because then Trump will win by cheating!". Unreal. I'm honestly stunned.
Are you seriously telling me that out of Biden and Trump that it's TRUMP that seems like the type to buy himself in? Are you shitting me? Trump holds a rally and people are on eachother's shoulders because there's not enough seats, meanwhile Biden could hold one single fuckin' full rally to the point he had to stop rallying because nobody turned up and yet he somehow got more votes than Obama? Are you shitting me, bruh? In what fuckin' world?
Nope, although maybe I can tone it down a bit. That said, the idea that the establishment politician Biden, who we know has used his political power for personal/financial gain, is the less likely of the two to "buy themselves in" astounds me.
Also, the idea that you can't validate the votes because only then could they be tampered with also confuses me. You're saying that having a magnifying class on the validity of votes leaves the potential for compromised votes to be counted but that not validating votes leaves a less likely chance for compromised votes to be counted? It doesn't make sense.
This could of all been avoided if they just done the audits and it was known 100% or as close as can be if the vote was compromised but the Dems fought every attempt and we're not supposed to lift so much as an eyebrow at that? What's going to happen next is a complete fuck about with the internet as we know it, they're already admitting an intent on cracking down on how the internet to ensure people can't band together in ways the elite don't approve of. Think of that for a minute, Democrats have now allowed big business to own politics, they're going to ensure that someone outside of the political establishment, like Trump, will never be able to compete and gain a massive following compared to the establishment. You have no idea how fucked things are getting, or maybe you do and you don't see an issue with it...Yet.
I never said it had to be like that. It could be that during the recount something could happen to the votes to skew the numbers
And yes I question the validity of Trump's claim and am suspicious of a nefarious plot
Are you saying someone should be able to garnish popularity with the "every man" and use that to win the election? You would be fine if people like Kanye West were president?
As far as parties go, I see their place in the system and don't agree with it but it's what's there and it can work well if the right people are in charge. But I don't have a magic wand so I kinda have to rationalize it in a way I can work with instead of stooping in my misery
But your position is that we shouldn't even try despite plenty of reason to believe the vote was compromised because by doing so it could potentially be compromised. Essentially the same thing.
Yet you don't question one from the Dems even though there's far more reason to? The fact they kept out Republican poll watchers, the glitches that all benefited Biden, the fact that there was reason to believe a big batch of votes were machine printed and for some reason ones of such specifically voted Biden, the fact that a ton of Trump votes got counted as Biden votes? Or how they stopped the vote count because of a "pipe leak" and then resumed counting when everyone had left only to find out there was no leak? Or like I said, the fact that Trump could fill a stadium with his rallies but Biden couldn't fill a stay at home wife's book club, yet somehow was more popular than Obama?
How can you have no evidence of vote irregularities in Trump's favour and have so many irregularities in Biden's favour and then look at the two and say it's Trump that you are suspect of for wanting the vote validated?
You do realize you just argued against democracy, right? Yes, I want people like Kanye to have the ability to run for president, I want anybody to have the ability, I don't want the call to be 100% up to the establishment and not the people...How are you arguing against this? Is your dislike for Trump so bad that you would let the very idea of Democracy fly out the window?
What did Trump say to incite his supporters to storm Capitol?
