What did i see when i was little?

When I was very young probably only 5 years old, I would sit up in my bed and wait. Not because I couldn’t sleep but because I was waiting for something that would show up from a dark corner of my room by the ceiling. Tiny dots just like how you can see on a daily basis at night showed up in a cloud out of the corner. When they got to me I could see images like bicycles, numbers, animals, letters (didn’t know how to read yet I think), and maybe other things I can’t remember. They would be formed by the dots in groups and I could see them with eyes open or closed while the cloud was still there. After a while I prioritized sleep more and never waited. Then I forgot about it entirely like it never existed. No trace until about 10-12 years old I remembered it all like I just got slapped in the face. I was aware of that it happened again. I don’t see it anymore. No one else said they saw it. Is it imagination? It’s weird I thought it was normal so I said nothing.
