    I'd honestly laugh it off to break the ice. If my date thinks it's weird, then we shouldn't be dating. Your date should love you and be with you no matter what if they are your true soul mate. All [almost all] people fart. It's normal. If that's something that someone is not going to accept, then they don't know a thing. (If you date only for sex, you, sir, have no life.)
