I've heard all of my life that the world considers americans to be rude and arrogant. While this may be so, I don't think we are the rudest by far. In my experience, Germans are at the top of the rudeness chain, followed by the French and then the south Africans.

Germans are more blunt/matter of fact than rude. It varies from place to place though...
I lived in Germany for 10 years, and yes initially, I did think that they were rude and arrogant, however after living and working among them, I came to realize that it is really just a cultural difference. Just as Jonathan said, they are simply more up-front and blunt, even with one another. One moment you may hear two Germans involved in what may appear to be a very passionate argument to the uninitiated, but then a few seconds later, they part with polite plesantries and smiles...I was also rather put-off by the way that they tend to unapologetically stare right at you, until I realized that they do it to one another too, Lol!
Kinda yes. But they are the greatest country in the world. In terms of profit and technology and hoe much they contribute to the EU and the rest of the world. They are great and they know it
waited tables at international resort summers in college. France and Germany are at the TOP OF THE HEAP for being assholes followed by SAUDIS and IRANIANS. Jerks from NY and Chicago and LA were the worst from the states
All people suck once you around too long. Some of em right off the bat. Try not to sweat it.
San Franciscans are stuck up and neurotic. Indians (dot not feather) treat the internet as their personal spamming/scamming ground.
India. They are polite in an insincere way and when they want something they are rude AF.
Americans aren't rude imho but insufferably arrogant and ignorant about the world as a whole. When I moved here almost everyone asked what language we spoke in Australia, and they weren't joking.
I hung around Goa for a while years ago and it attracts many nationalities. Israelis seemed to be the most arrogant and rude people on average.
I love Americans, their very cute and loving. whenever i see some i feel like i'm home. Americans at least appreciate others and they smile to strangers too.. unlike GeRmANZzZ.
