Sum 41 got me into punk music and their transition into maturity felt genuine and unforced. Their first album is their best. The same can be said of Good Charlotte, although I dislike their new music.
Rise Against are good because their songs are political and heartfelt (two of my favourite things :P).
I grew out of Linkin Park but I used to like them.
The first song I learned on guitar was by Green Day and one of my favourite songs is by Green Day. I dislike their latest album but their albums released in the next few months sound promising.
I've almost grown out of My Chemical Romance.
AC/DC are good.
Guns 'N Roses are good, although Axl Rose is not good. Slash is one of my favourite guitarists.
Nickelback are cheesy and corny and predictable but still good fun.
My answer is Green Day (specifically the album "Dookie"). I can't give a list of my favourite bands, but Green day are one of my favourite bands :)
What band do you like best!!!
