What are your thoughts on the Connecticut shooting

    • I'm a different, but smart guy and your point seems a little obscure. Are you saying that life is basically nothing because death is basically nothing?

      • My point is that people - including children - die all the time. With that said, I don't fully understand the emotional fervor surrounding this case.

        • Well yes. When children die, as opposed to adults, there is terrible pain for their families. But, since it is from disease or accidents, families quietly internalize the pain. The shooting tragedy had terrible mal-intent so now this terrible pain can be directed fervently at a target (the shooter).

          The social outrage helps society protect itself from homicidal sociopaths. So, it is very adaptive behavior.

    • No I wont shut the hell up. I may be a lot of things but stupid is most certainly not one of them. I'll stand by
      what I said, it is sickening that you don't think this is
      a big deal. Does your heart not bleed for those poor children
      and their families. What sort of planet am I living on.
