What are your thoughts on apples?

Granny Smith all the way, red apples can suck it.

They are fruit.

Had a debate red vs green apples with a friend earlier (no idea how it got to that). But I prefer red and he prefers green. He made a poll and red apples won. Winning.

They make great pies and strudels.

I think apples are delicious. Pies, tarts, juice, candied, I think they’re great. However just a plain apple ironically I don’t really like, I don’t like the texture or the skin.

I used to be "meh" about 'em as a kid, but now I'm like, "delicious".

I just yesterday googled why do I get so nauseous when I eat an apple. There were others who had the same problem.
I answered meh because green apples are bitter and reds are mealy. But half red and half green apples are delicious.

I dislike bad tasting apples.

Apples are our code word for weed when in public. I like all kinds of apples.

Do not try honeycrisp apples. They are actually the best ones on the planet. full of flavor, just perfect. They do not look very good but looks can deceive. The reason I say not to try them is because after trying one of those, everything else will pale in comparison.

I am thinking of buying a bag of the pink lady ones just to see if they are any good. I picked up some of those stupid gala apples last time and they were just nowhere near as good as Honeycrisp

I like Figi apples!

It depends on the kind. I love honeycrisp and pink lady, and crisp, juicy apples like that. I don't care for red delicious or any of the delicious varieties. The texture is off to me and there isn't much flavor.

Also, fresh off the tree is so much better than storebought if you can get your hands on some! I really want another apple tree someday. Nothing beats fresh fruit and vegetables straight from the tree/bush/garden.

I've never eaten a candied or caramel apple and I don't plan too.

pink lady apples are a gift from god

I really like the Red Delicious variety.
