I love it and as someone who is actually babyfaced at 25 years old, anime helped me accept for who I am when I was 18.
I really hate it when people are so mad about anime females being babyfaced or childlike in other ways even when they're over 18. Also, what about the male characters? There are actually many over 18 year old male characters that somehow look very young too. In my opinion, Lucifer from the anime The Devil Is A Part Timer and Levy Ackermann look like 10 year olds. Momiji Sohma is 15-17 but he also looks like 10. Male characters that look much younger than their age or are somehow childlike despite being over 18 are a thing too. Not to mention that not every over 18 year old anime female is like that.
I also feel like that people who are so mad about such characters are probably very shallow towards real life babyfaced people as well and probably expect them to look like what Hollywood celebs look in their own age or whatever. Heck, I'm sure that they actually expect 14 year olds to look like 25.
Will people just ever shut up about the babyfaced anime characters and characters that have a childlike personality? Because not everybody can look like their age and not every adult is some boring person whose free time stuff is probably just some health nut vlogs and stupid reality shows.
And let me tell you that while it's true that Japan has many flaws, accusing anime character designs of "Japanese pedophilia misogyny" or something like that is rather Japanophobic than some "human rights activism".
