Pants on the ground.
Pants on the ground.
Lookin' like a foo with ya pants on the ground.
With the gold in ya mouth.
Hat turned sideways.
Pants hit the ground.
Call yo-self a cool cat?
Lookin, like a foo!
Walkin downtown with yo pants on the ground?
Get it up!
Hay!
Get yo pants off da ground!Comment Hidden ( show ) -

Sagging originally was a symbol that you had a friend or relative in jail that you feel responsible for. They don't let you have shoelaces or belts in there since you can strangle or hang yourself with them so the real Old Skool gangsta rappers would take out their shoelaces and not wear belts as a sign of remorse for their actions and to remind them to fly strait. Now it's just another fashion without a statement.

My hips keep my pants up fine, thanks. The only men who really need belts are obese guys whose belly circumference is greater than their hip circumference. You see it all too often in older men. Some men just never gain any weight in the hip area, their belly just keeps getting bigger and bigger until they're really out of proportion, necessitating a belt.

In my days at college, it was the braindead, streetwise kids who did it.
They were pretty much all troublemakers, so I've come to appreciate this eyesore with ghetto twats who want to do nothing more than blast the latest chipmunked/repetitive urban hit on their mobils on the back of the bus while talking loudly and deliberately making nuisances of themselves....

Was it called sagging when it was done circa 2003 with the baggy cargo jeans? I think it was...
What's weird is that even though urban culture was really mainstream in the late nineties/early 2000s, it was still a completely separate social scene in a way, at least where I live. Now, almost all teenagers speak, dress, and act in an "urban" style, if that makes sense. There's no "neutral" between rural and urban people now. There's not really any suburban teen subculture now. Suburban kids act and talk like urban kids. Even rural kids do.

I remember studying in the college computer lab, only to look up and see some guy with his pants down around his hips with his ENTIRE ASS hanging out from the back.
It doesn't matter that he had on tan flannel underwear... the fact is I never wanted to see that shit.
pull your pants up.
And now I'm reminded of a gun store I really like. They have a sign on the door barring saggy pants.

So, were talking about low riding, right?
I think it's a little weirddd... Maybe a LITTLE BIT on some people, but nerdy little white kids walking around trying to be all "gangsta" is not that great... Although I guess I should say that because I'm white... Not that I do it though. I'm a girl.
I think it's an attempt for attention and I'm not a huge fan. Hey, some girls like it though.. So I guess some people can pull it off.Comment Hidden ( show ) -
