One if my pet peeves is when I'm in the right lane with my cruise control set, usually at 5 or 6 mph over and the guy in the left lane catches up to me but doesn't have the balls to go a little faster and pass me, so after a while there's a big string of cars behind both if us and nobody can get through the blockage. That pisses me off so sometimes I'll speed up and pull into the left lane in front of the guy that's blocking traffic and then I slow down so EVERYBODY can pass us in the right lane. Then I pull back into the right lane and resume my previous cruise controlled speed. Even then, sometimes the offending driver doesn't even seem to notice what happened!
I know how you feel. This is the most extreme thing I do, and I'm always cognizant of the fact that I might be provoking road rage in the other guy, so I limit myself to just helping break up the blockage and not DELIBERATELY trying to antagonize the moron. I always remember the time a relative of mine had a road rage incident. They both pulled over. My relative ran up to the other drivers door to give him what for and found himself staring into the business end of a handgun.
I live in a tourist town so it is all the people visiting that end up pissing me off. I have probably ruined a few people's vacation with the yelling and middle finger. We have back roads for the locals so you can usually by pass traffic that way but some local business started handing out maps and showing the back ways. You can't get around with out running into someone driving 20 under the speed limit. Mind you on our back roads the speed limit is 35-40. So getting behind someone that is going 10-15 is so aggravating.
What are your pet peeve(s)?

People that drive in the left lane and don't pass. Nothing irritates me more than that.

I do things like this as well. I have really bad road rage though so I end up flipping people off and cussing it's pretty bad.
