    People that rationalize the shitty things they say about others by saying, "they probaby talk as much shit as I do."

      I would say to the person, "well actually, your name came up in a recent conversation with that person, and they seemed to think that YOU'RE alright". That gives then something to think about, because NOW who really looks bad?
