people always think they should be more productive, should have accomplished more by now, or should be working towards some vague yet wonderful future.
Basically it is just others trying to tell you how to live.
I know a lot of older people have a habit of asking younger ones "what are you doing with your life?" Just come up with some bullshit answer to appease them.
The only things one needs to really do are keep a roof over head, have food, and maybe a little fun now and then.
I like your answer. I was going to say something very similar, so I'll just add one more point. Along with the roof, food, and fun you mentioned, I think maybe another goal is to not be a total asshole. I mean, we don't always have to be the most generous and loving person, (I know I'm not) but maybe if we strive to not be total jerks, then we won't make the world uglier than it already is.
What are you doing with your life?

Yeah i forgot about that. I think having even one quality friend is something needed.
Besides, life often teaches us that we can work so hard to achieve things or accumulate "stuff" but it can be easily lost.
