No, there are no standard language classes in Bulgarian, or German universities. While there are foreign language classes available, they are not mandatory.
Unless you are studying linguistics, or something...
I didn't have German classes at university. I did have to take an exam, to be able to study economics, but other than that - no language courses.
Well, I had Portuguese because I went to Uni in Brazil! So not a foreign language, really. I meant like in the US you'll have English, German in Germany and Bulgarian in Bulgaria. BTW, I know nothing about bulgarian, does it sound like any other language? In your extended region (excluding French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Romanche) I only really know what German and Polish sound like.
What are you doing right this minute?

Aren't you an American university student?
Why would you have English classes? Unless it's a language studies thing...

They teach the proper usage of words, and in some cases English literature.
Yes I am. It's a required core class at my school idk why but I have 2 english classes I have to take just to become a PT. One down one to go.
You know we speak English, right? Although that seems to be more of a high school class. Maybe a remedial college class.
