What are the normal rules for dating best friend's little sister

My friend's little sister has told me directly that she has had a crush on me for a long time, and now that she is old enough, she wants to "see"/date me.

How should I handle this? I've always thought she was cute, but my friendship has kept further thoughts from entering my head. I don't have a sister, so I have no reference to this situation.

    its better not to keep secrets from a friend i would talk it over with him and be respectful about it. it all depends on his relationship with his sister. things will most likely change between the two of you sooner or later

    Go with the sister, but there are two things to bear in mind (1) DO NOT tell him what she's like in the sack. (2) Your friendship is in most danger when/if you split up with her.
