The music from the musical "Tommy" by The Who, the film "Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles.
Daft Punk's Discovery album is a gem of mine and the soundtrack was used to accompany a film called Interstellar 5555 but I'm not too sure how well the story of the album and the movie gel tbh. Definitely give all of these a shot, though
Maybe "Hairspray"? I only know the modern version with Amanda Bynes and Queen Latifah, though
Addendum (some NSFW content!) : The Beatles have lots of songs which tell stories. Rocky Racoon and Eleanor Rigby spring to mind.
Liverpool, Seek A Sound So Rare and Babydoll by Akira The Don
Dance With The Devil by Immortal Technique
Solitude Standing by Suzanne Vega (the song itself as well as the album). Calypso, Wooden Horse, Marlene On The Wall
They Say You Won't Come Back and/or Get Off Easy by Breathe Carolina
Depending on how short and/or HAHAHA HERPADERP RANDOM you are willing to go for your stories: Storytime, Bruja De Los Jaime, Magic Bone, Fire In The Kitchen, Striped Pajamas, Place Disclaimer Here, QY10 by The Left Rights.
Perhaps they're more short scenes than stories but in my mind they totally count!

The Charabanc Trip, The Yodelling Wanker, My Grandad John, No No No, Mabel (All Of These Things Are Soul) by Ivor Biggun
What are some songs you’d recommend me?
