Plus zombies are overdone in the media now what with the last of us, walking dead comic, tv show and game, state of decay, day z book and film, halfthe films on the horror channel, dead rising ect
Agreed, but the thing about this story is that it needs a failry sudden breakdown of society that leaves urban areas intact while still making survivors fairly untrusting of one another, Sudden ecological disatres are more likely to make people bond together than drive them apart (Recent flooding in former Yugoslavia saw former ethnic enemies helping eachother out, landslides in Kashmir had the same effect) Something like a world war three would be equally likely to make people band together against the invading enemy instead of driving them apart, and nuclear war would take along time to give rise to the situation i'm envisioning in these locales such as aus, (no food on the shelves, no medicine in the pharmacies, hospitals and police stations deserted, the water and electricity down ect, would perhaps be the case but only at least a year or so down the line and i'm looking for a more in a matter of weeks thing.,
What apocalypse scares you the most?
