I don't see anything wrong with that. I'm mid-forties and that's how I've chosen to live my life and I'm very content. Maybe you're missing rewarding work...? Is that possible?
My work is very rewarding, but I have a hard time delegating because no one else can do the job right. So I end up doing everything myself. Not great for a work/life balance.
