  • I'm in a tri poly relationship our average age is 23 I'm 27. We are planning on a line family and have been discussing what we think the average age should be. It will most likely be between 25-35 not sure yet though

      • I am polyamorous literally it means "multiple loves". I was homosexual until about 6 months ago(now im bi), I have always wanted a family and a large one at that. basically me and 2 friends (tri) decided to form a family because all three of us want lots of kids (no less than 8). A line family is basically a social unit formed for the purpose of creating a stable environment to raise children. More parents means more social and financial security. Even though there are only three of us at the moment we are not opposed to the idea of inviting more people to join the family and in fact we look forward to it.

This is not an "open marriage" in fact there is no marriage as polygamy is illegal. The relationship is a committed relationship but dating is permitted. Marriages dont last more than 7 years yet poly relationships last much longer. We have common values, and have similar ideas about how children should be brought up. Because our focus is on the children instead of obsession over the partners it makes for a healthier relationship.
